Domestic flights are the practical way to cover Argentina's enormous distances -- Aerolíneas Argentinas and budget carriers connect Buenos Aires with Patagonia and Iguazu Falls in a few hours each.

Long-distance buses are extensive and comfortable -- "cama" or "semi-cama" reclining seats make even overnight journeys reasonably comfortable.

Within Buenos Aires, the Subte (subway) and app-based rideshares are widely available and generally the easiest way to get around.
