Best destinations by month

November through February offers Hyderabad's easiest broad window. Days are warm and comparatively dry, nights can feel cool, and exposed monuments are more manageable. Holiday dates, weddings and large events can still raise demand.

March through May becomes increasingly hot. April and May have the highest normal daytime temperatures, so begin forts and markets early, rest indoors through mid-afternoon and carry safe water.

June through September is the main southwest-monsoon period. Rain often arrives in bursts rather than as continuous all-day weather, but intense storms can flood roads and disrupt transfers. August has the highest normal rainfall at the Hyderabad station.

October is transitional: rain risk remains meaningful while temperatures begin to ease. Festival dates can bring rewarding street life and major traffic changes. Use IMD warnings, not a monthly average, for day-to-day decisions.
