Asolo Climate Patterns

Summers (June-August) are warm, generally in the high twenties, and noticeably fresher on the hill than in the valley. Afternoon thunderstorms come off the Prealps.

Winters (December-February) are cold but often bright. The characteristic winter effect here is fog filling the plain below while Asolo, a hundred metres higher, stands above it in sunshine -- worth planning for rather than avoiding.

Spring and autumn are short, mild and the clearest seasons for the long views the town is known for. Visibility to the Dolomites is best after rain.

Rainfall is moderate and well distributed, higher than the open plain because of the hills.
