Possagno

Possagno Climate Patterns

Humid subtropical, moderated by altitude and the mountain behind. Summers are warm rather than hot — typically 27–30°C in July — and noticeably cooler than the plain. Winters are cold and damp, usually 0–7°C, with occasional snow that settles on the Grappa long before it settles in the village.

Spring and autumn bring the clearest air and the most reliable light, which matters here more than it does in most places: Scarpa's wing is lit entirely by daylight.

Rain is spread through the year with peaks in spring and autumn; summer afternoon thunderstorms roll off the massif with little warning.
