Possagno

How to get around Possagno

Getting around

The village is small enough to cross on foot in ten minutes, and everything worth seeing is within that. The only real walk is the climb from the village up to the Tempio — a long flight of steps, with a road looping round for anyone who cannot manage them.

By car — effectively necessary. About 20 minutes from Asolo, 30 from Bassano del Grappa, an hour from Treviso, an hour and a half from Venice. Parking in the village is free but limited, and fills on summer weekends.

By bus — regional services connect Possagno with Bassano del Grappa and Montebelluna, but they are infrequent and thin on Sundays. Check return times before relying on them.

By train — there is no station. The nearest are Bassano del Grappa and Montebelluna, both requiring a bus or taxi onward.
