Best destinations by month
Bright light matters more here than season, but the pattern is consistent.
April to June — the best combination of clear light, open hours and a drive up the Grappa that is actually pleasant.
July and August — warm and busier at weekends; the village has limited parking and feels it. Weekdays are fine.
September and October — the clearest air of the year and the best corner light in the Scarpa rooms.
November to March — quiet, cold and often grey, which is the one condition that genuinely diminishes the museum. Check hours; they shorten out of season.
Any Monday — the museum is closed.
