The Pantheon campus is a loose group of red, cream and stone-coloured buildings under large trees. Curved verandas, arcades and towers appear in stages as paths bend between lawns and gallery entrances.
Inside, sculpture and bronzes often stand in long rooms where repeated figures create a visual chronology. Coin and art displays are denser, rewarding a slower, object-by-object visit.
The museum's atmosphere is cumulative rather than polished into one design. Older cases, renovated rooms and closed wings make its institutional history visible alongside the collections.
