The Farnese gallery. The collection inherited by Charles of Bourbon remains the museum’s anchor, with works from the family’s Roman and Parma holdings.
Painting across Italy. The galleries range from medieval and Renaissance works to major Neapolitan painters, with Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio, Masaccio, El Greco and others represented.
The royal apartments. Furniture, porcelain, weapons and the Salottino di Porcellana show the palace as a lived royal residence. Some pieces arrived from Portici or other royal houses.
The Real Bosco. The surrounding park was a royal hunting preserve and now provides the outdoor half of the visit. Its gates follow separate seasonal hours; check them before planning a return walk.
