Palazzo di Giustizia site features

The Gothic window range

The pointed-arch openings grouped across the upper floor, the building's defining feature and a direct quotation of Venetian palace design.

Fresco fragments

What survives of the painted facade, and a reminder that most Veneto palaces of this date were colourful rather than plain.

The setting

The palace sits on the short arcaded main street between the two town gates, which is Soave's entire civic centre.

Palazzo Cavalli

Its near neighbour and contemporary, worth looking at in the same five minutes.
