Palazzo Morosini Brandolin is a palace in Venice in the Veneto region of Italy. It is located in the Sestiere San Polo overlooking the Grand Canal, between the Rio di San Cassiano and the Fondamenta dell'Olio, opposite the Ca' d'Oro.

History

The Morosini family had the palace built in the Ca' Foscari style in the second half of the 15th century. In the 18th century, the palace passed to the Brandolini family, then to the Lagos and the Topans. Today the palace is divided into various condominiums.

Architecture

The palace is an example of Florentine and Venetian Gothic architecture. The current façade has ashlar work and two portals on the first floor; above are the two main floors, each with a six-light window in the center, flanked by a pair of single windows. The second floor's windows have ogee arches, while those on the second floor have typical trefoil arches with quatrefoils in between. In the 19th century, a third main floor was demolished, probably for structural reasons.
