Look for the horseshoe auditorium, the stacked boxes, the royal box, the proscenium relief of Time and the Hours, and the foyer rebuilt after wartime damage. The room’s changing colours also tell a story: Bourbon blue and gold belong to its earlier decoration, while the red-and-gold appearance followed later nineteenth-century work.
